Caddie's Story

On the lush grounds of Buccaneer's Golf Course, two sisters traipsed around, alluding being captured, undoubtedly looking for just the right sugar daddies. They were meant to live luxurious lives, sunbathing, spoiled with attention, affection and ample chew toys.

One day, a very pregnant Birdie (impregnated by a full-size German Shepherd) and her sister Caddie were finally caught.

Birdie went into labor the very next day.

Lucky for Birdie, she was at the Vets because the first puppy got stuck in the birth canal, had she not been there, all of the puppies would have died.

Everyone survived and were doing great! The pups even started nursing from Caddie, because Birdie just couldn't keep up with the TEN hungry mouths.

Birdie is a little more timid, than Caddie, but now both love human interaction. They warm up quickly and love being petted. Both Birdie and Caddie are super laid back, they LOVE to chew on bones (or anything, but we're working on that ), and both would enjoy running in a yard and laying in the sun. Plus, they are well on their way to being housebroken and walking on a leash.

Their foster says, "If I could have another dog, I would've taken Birdie home with me already."

As her foster suggests, adopting Birdie would truly make you feel like you got that Hole-in-One, and while Caddie may not be able to carry your golf clubs, in no time, she will is sure to carry your heart!

Birdie and Caddie, 2-3 year old siblings, are up for adoption. Together or separately. They are currently on St. Croix USVI but can fly to you on the mainland.
