Byron gets along beautifully with people of all ages and with the other dogs in his foster home however, he does not like cats. He rides calmly in the car, does not mind loud noises, and enjoys relaxing on the porch in his favorite chair. He knows basic commands like sit, lay, leave it, and come, and he is well-behaved when left alone at home. Like many neglected dogs, Byron is very protective of his food, but this is easily managed by feeding him separately. Byron would do best in a home without cats or chickens. He does not require a large yard, but he does need regular exercise to stay healthy and content.
