Buzz's Story
Buzz is a 15-year-old hound mix weighing about 60 pounds, and according to his foster, he is truly one of the easiest dogs around.

For a hound, Buzz is very laid back and surprisingly quiet, unless it's dinner time or a new dog comes over. He loves being outside, especially laying in the sun, and he absolutely LOVES toys. Buzz will empty the entire toy bin and play with every single one because, in his mind, all toys belong to him. Because of that, you do have to keep an eye on toys and food left out around him!

Buzz is great with other dogs and absolutely adores children. He really is a family dog who enjoys being part of the action but is also perfectly happy lounging around and relaxing nearby.

Even at 15, Buzz still likes to play, although sometimes he forgets he's an old man and overdoes it a little. He takes gabapentin to help with his shaky back legs. Buzz also receives Vetsulin injections twice a day along with a strict diet for his diabetes, which he handles extremely well. His insulin is given while he eats, and he barely notices.

He's gentle, easygoing, loves his people, and deserves a home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love, sunshine, snacks, and ALL the toys.
