I recently reached a huge milestone, I’m a proud graduate of a training program here at Wayside Waifs! This means I’ve put in the hard work to learn my manners and focus my mind, and I’m so excited to show off everything I’ve learned. While I’m a smart girl who loves to use my brain, my favorite "job" in the whole world is simply being near my people. I’m a bit of a professional supervisor; I love to follow you from room to room just to observe what you’re doing and make sure you’re never lonely. Whether you’re folding laundry or working at your desk, I’ll be right there by your side, happy to be your loyal shadow.<br/><br/>When we first meet, you might notice that I’m a little on the shy side. The world can be a big place, and it takes me a moment to feel brave. However, I’ve found that the way to my heart is paved with patience and, of course, some yummy treats! If you give me the time to adjust at my own pace, you’ll see my shy exterior melt away. Before you know it, I’ll be leaning my weight against you for pets and looking up at you with total devotion. I am a world-class cuddler once I know I’m safe, and there is nothing I love more than a quiet evening spent snuggled up close to my favorite humans.<br/><br/>Because I value my "people time" so much, I tend to be a dog who prefers to coexist peacefully with other canine friends rather than being the life of a rowdy puppy party. I’m happy to share a home with another dog, but I’d really love to meet them first to make sure our energies match. I’m looking for a patient, loving home where I can continue to bloom and show off my training.
