My name is Butters though my foster mom loves to call me Butt Butt. Do you want to play fetch? I love to show off by running around outside, chasing toys but then come inside for cuddle time and watch TV. Do you like paw patrol? I do!

My foster mom taught me how to sit, shake, come when called, learning the Find-it game, and we are working to redirect my enthusiasm when greeting new people or trying to get their attention <wink> I LOVE meeting new people! I’m affectionate from the get-go. I’m so smart, too! Treat motivated, and I take those treats gently, curious, and want to learn new things.

I’m good at the vet’s office, being handled, and on car rides. Though I should be safely secured so I don’t try to take the wheel. While I live in a foster home with two other dogs, I would prefer to have humans all to myself. Some dogs don't like my enthusiasm. I am a good girl and respectfully play with my dog friends at doggie daycare, though.

Forever Home: I’m a wee pocket pitty just lookin’ for a person/couple that wants a bestie to have fun and cuddles with. I’d like to be able to sleep in bed with you as I love curling right up against my people to sleep. I’m moving into my teenage phase so I do need guidance and additional training to help me become the amazing companion I’m meant to be. I’ve got so much love to give to humans who adopt me.

Contact: Please contact wtdr@waggintailsdogrescue.org with any questions or submit adoption application via our website www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoption-application.

ADOPTION INFO

We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar on our website for the date and time of the next adoption event. Arrangements can be made to meet a dog outside of adoption events after an application is submitted and approved.

Our adoption process includes an application and in-home meet-n-greet with the dog.

ADOPTION FEE
Adult Dogs (over 6 months of age) $250 + $50 refundable Training deposit, if applicable.

Puppies (under 6 months) $250 + $50 refundable Spay/Neuter deposit + $50 refundable Training deposit.

Senior Dogs $125 +$50 refundable Training deposit, if applicable.

**Please note: We encourage all newly adopted dogs to attend basic training (positive reinforcement) class with their adopters as it starts everyone off the right way and helps to build a trusting bond between dog and adopter. In most cases, this will be a requirement and a $50 refundable Training deposit fee will be applied to adoption and refundable upon proof of class completion.
