Hi, I’m Butters, your loyal adventure buddy! I’m a 6-year-old, 65-pound yellow Lab with a heart of gold and a love for the great outdoors. I’m a handsome boy dreaming of my forever home where I can stretch my legs, explore, and keep watch over my kingdom. If you have plenty of land and a peaceful environment, I may be the perfect fit.<br/><br/>Rain, snow, or sunshine, I’m happiest outside and I never turn down a chance to run, romp, or get a case of the zoomies. I’m still young and energetic, so daily exercise—whether it’s a long walk (I’m a gentleman on a leash!) or a good play session—is essential. I even know how to walk on a treadmill all by myself, making it easy to help me burn off that Lab energy.<br/><br/>I need an adopter who can be patient with me. When it comes to new situations, I can be shy and skittish at first, but once I feel comfortable, I’m an affectionate love bug who bonds deeply with my people. I prefer to be the only pet in the home and would thrive in a low-traffic, quiet environment where surprises are minimal and I can relax.
