Butters was dropped of at the shelter with a hip fracture and in need of emergency medical care.<br/><br/>How a puppy finds himself at the shelter with a hip fracture is a mystery to us. <br/><br/>Butters is healing nicely and will be medically cleared, neuter appointment soon and will be caught up on all preventatives so he will be ready to find his forever home! <br/><br/>Butters is an approximately 8 month old, 13 pound dachshund mix. He lives with 10 pound to 110 pound dogs (different breeds and ages) and 2 cats with no issues. <br/><br/>He has puppy energy and will entertain you with puppy shenanigans! He is high energy and would benefit from an active home and basic training. Fur siblings to play with a definite plus! <br/><br/>Butters is crate trained, but doesn't love it, and working on not barking/crying when he first goes in, but he has gotten WAY more accepting of the crate with all the crate rest while healing from his hip fracture. His potty training is in progress, as well, but with continued crate training and a good schedule...we expect he will can be fully potty trained!<br/><br/>Butters is a sweet puppy and loves affection and cuddling in between his puppy playtime.
