Butternut's Story

This handsome, mellow mixed breed guy loves to connect and chill with people, and always has kisses to share. <br/><br/>Butternut will need coaching on living in a house and training, but he's ready to go for cuddle time. He's curious, food motivated and takes redirection well. At 57 pounds, Butternut is a strong guy and will need work on his leash skills. <br/><br/>Butternut is happiest when he is playing with or cuddling with his roommate and best girl Pumpkin. They were found on the street together and their friendship has blossomed in the shelter. He would do best either as the king of a castle - the only dog - or with his queen Pumpkin. (AM)
