Found as a stray and brought to a high-kill shelter, she was thankfully rescued in time and is now ready to begin her next chapter in a loving forever home.<br/><br/>At approximately 8–9 years old and just 10 pounds, Buttercup is the perfect pint-sized companion. Don’t let her small size fool you—this girl has a big personality! She’s outgoing, incredibly friendly, and her tail is almost always wagging.<br/><br/>Buttercup enjoys her walks and keeps a brisk pace on the leash, happily taking in the sights and smells around her. She loves being part of the action and would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of time with her people.<br/><br/>Because she truly enjoys companionship, Buttercup would do best with someone who is home most of the day or can include her in daily activities. She is fine with cats but has not been around children. While she can socialize around other dogs she would prefer to be your one and only, soaking up all the love and attention. New Beginnings For Animals's Adoption Policy
Complete and submit the REQUIRED online adoption application first. If your application is approved you will be contacted soon to discuss your application and the pet you are interested in adopting in more detail. If the dog or cat seems like a good fit for your lifestyle and household, a meet-and-greet is arranged (including any other household pets and ALL family members). If there’s a love connection, we move on to the home check/official adoption with contract and medical records provided. Completing an application does not guarantee that you will be approved to adopt the animal applied for. If there is more than one application it is the policy of New Beginnings for Animals to match the applicant that is the best fit for the animal. We do not adopt on a first come, first serve basis. We strive to place each animal in a home that is best suited to their needs and the owner's expectations. We do not adopt outside of California.
