Meet Buttercup
Buttercup came to us with a really bad past. Not only was she extremely emaciated, she was also pregnant and due soon. Due to her pending delivery, she was transferred to our amazing rescue partners. After delivering her puppies and feeding them, she came back to us for vet care.
Over the past few months she has undergone eye removal surgery, a spay, and heartworm treatment. She has also had a lot of good meals to help her with her weight and to help her feel better. The heartworm treatment was really hard for her so she spent quite a bit of time at the vet's, bouncing back from that.
She is now back home, and so glad to be there. BUT, she also is silently hoping that she has a forever home out there, somewhere. She still has a little ways to go with her heartworm treatment and weight-gain but she is definitely on the downhill slide.
