Hello there! My name is Butter Cup! (d.o.b. 3/1/2005) I’m a super friendly girl that just adores people, so I can't wait for a family of my very own! For some reason my first family kept me outside a lot, but all I wanted to do was be with my people, so I was lonely. Then I found a foster-type family that loved my personality and said I had great house-manners, but they couldn’t keep me forever. So I’m still waiting to find my “forever” home, and I’m not losing hope – they are out there, I just know it!! Let me tell ya about myself . . . I'm a very affectionate young girl who tries to be a lap dog when I can (especially since I'm the ideal medium-sized dog at only 50 lbs). Sometimes I might be a little shy around certain strangers at first, but I get all wiggly and excited around people that I know! I'm ready to do what other young dogs do - like play fetch, go on walks, take basic Obedience Classes, enjoy my toys and treats, and don't forget some cuddling time too. And I would love a family with older children (8yrs & up) to play fetch with! I also enjoy playing with other energetic doggie friends too, it's so much fun! I seem to be housebroken, but it’s always good to have a few refresher tips in the new house. Don’t worry, I’m really smart and catch on quickly!! That's because I aim to please, and I love to get your positive praise & affection. I already know basic commands like SIT, DOWN and STAY, and sometimes I can be a strong puller on-leash but I'm working on that. I’m a very healthy girl, I just need occasional meds for ear infections, but that’s no big hassle. I make up for it with all my kisses and snuggles!
