Meet Butter

BUTTER, estimated to be be two years, was born in a large scale breeding facility breeding animals for use in laboratory animal testing.

Since we rescued BUTTER and her litter of seven babies on June 3, she has been gently unfolding in a dedicated foster home. She is done weening her babes and has been an excellent mama!

Please watch Butter’s videos on our Instagram @mrbonesandco under the hashtag #adoptButterandBagelsMBC. She likely walked on grass for the first time on the Columbia County, NY farm she started her foster on, and it may have been the first time she’s run free. she has opened up so much and learned to trust her foster mom in just a few days! She is fine with human guests who visit and does great with other dogs, She is very neat and clean and is predominantly house trained and is fine in the crate. Her adopter should reinforce house training with positive reinforcement and reward based training.

BUTTER was moved to foster in Cortland Manor, NY and is LOVING her life with other dogs! She is timid and fearful at first so should go to a home with a fenced in yard and at least one other dog. No small children for Butter as she scares easily. While she is kid friendly, if there are kids in the home they should be older as she is fearful of loud noises and quick movements. She dose not display any aggression or reactivity and is very docile.
