I love to run and play, but am equally happy cuddling with you on the couch or getting my head rubbed. I would make an excellent companion for someone and be their best friend!<br/>My foster parent says I am a lover and deserve to find the best home! <br/><br/>What are the dog’s favorite toys or things to do? <br/>My favorite thing to do is hang out with my foster brother, a hound, and to climb up on the couch with you. <br/><br/>Buster’s forever home: <br/>I am looking for a home where I can be the center of attention. I am mellow and calm, loving and smart. I like to hang out outside, squirrels particularly strike my fancy! But even more, I love to cuddle on the couch. <br/>I like to play with other dogs, but if given the chance, will rule the roost. If I were to be part of your family, I would need another dog that was a clear leader or would let me run the show. <br/><br/>Does the dog like cats? Live with cats?<br/>I do not live with cats so I’m not sure if I would like them or not.<br/><br/>Does the dog like other dogs? <br/>I love to play with my foster brothers and many other dogs. I would do better with a clear leader or a submissive dog. <br/><br/>Fearful of anything?<br/>I am very afraid of cars, have been since I was a wee pup. I need a family that will take me out for rides as often as possible so that I can get more socialized with them. If I go for rides often, then I do okay. But I stay at home all the time, I am very frightened to ride in them or even go for walks with lots of cars passing by. <br/><br/>Has the dog had any training? <br/>I have completed some basic obedience. I would like to do more so I could bond with my new family, but cuddling is more my priority. <br/><br/>Does the dog ride well in the car? <br/>I ride well in the car, but I am afraid. Most the time I have to be lifted in and won’t jump in on my own. <br/><br/>Is the dog food aggressive? <br/>I can be possessive over food with other dogs in my pack.<br/><br/>Health Concerns:<br/>I don’t have any health concerns, I am healthy and happy.<br/><br/>Does the dog like kids? <br/>I love kids, will walk up to them and kiss them. <br/><br/>Should the dog be placed with other pets and/or kids? <br/>I love to have a canine companion, but I don’t have to have one. It would have to be the right fit for me. I can definitely be placed with kids, I do well with them.<br/><br/>Housebroken?<br/>I am doggie door trained and generally do fine. I do need help in telling my owner when I have to go.<br/><br/>Crate trained?<br/>Yes, I am good in the crate.<br/><br/>Does the dog escape the yard? Dig? Bark excessively? Anything else? <br/>I don’t dig or escape, but I will bark at people passing by or squirrels.
