What is your name?<br/>Buster Brown<br/><br/>How old are you?<br/>I was born in February of 2025, so I'm almost 9 months now!<br/><br/>What do you look like?<br/>I am a caramel color with a white stripe down the center of my head/face<br/>extending onto my chest. I have a slightly darker mussel with pink and dark skin tones highlighting my adorable face.<br/><br/>What do you like to eat?<br/>I currently enjoy my mix of puppy kibble and wet food.<br/><br/>What kind of personality do you have?<br/>I am a pretty chill dude with bursts of play. I enjoy the couch and roaming the<br/>backyard. I recently discovered I enjoy chewing on sticks. I run and hide under beds, couches, and behind chairs for fun. I enjoy the pack walks with all my foster brothers. I am curious of cats and attempt to play, but when they hiss I back off immediately. I am crate trained, and quickly getting the hang of potty training.<br/><br/>Describe your perfect day<br/>My perfect day is waking up, getting out of my kennel and getting super excited<br/>to eat. After eating I play with my doggy friends (2 pitty mixes that are 40-50 lbs and 1-2 years old). They gentle play really well with me. If I get overwhelmed I will run and hide under the bed and dart out with surprise attacks. Throughout the day I sleep and lay around, chew on all the toys. After my humans wrap up work (luckily one of them works from home every day) we eat and then go on a 30 min walk. I may be small but I keep up with the big boys. I walk pretty in my harness on a leash. When we return home I enjoy doing some zoomies in the house and getting lots of drinks. I spend the rest of the night napping and playing until I get a treat to get in my kennel and sleep for the night.<br/><br/>What is your favorite toy?<br/>anything my foster brothers are already chewing on. Mostly Nylabones and<br/>silicone kong toys.<br/><br/>Do you know any tricks?<br/>I can sit!<br/><br/>What scares you?<br/>Going down stairs. Being approached too fast.<br/><br/>Do you like cats?<br/>I'm very cat curious and want to play. I will engage, but will shy away if the cat<br/>corrects me. <br/><br/>Do you have any doggie best friends?<br/>Yes, 4. Khan 10 yo staffy. Maslow, 5 yo pitty mix. Rover, 2 yo pitty mix. Cal, 1<br/>yo pitty mix.<br/><br/>If you could be anywhere in the world, where would it be?<br/>Lounging on the couch or in the back yard sunbathing and frolicking in the<br/>grass.<br/><br/>How is your health?<br/>I am strong and healthy boy! <br/><br/>How long have you lived in your foster home?<br/>Since April 18th, 2025.<br/><br/>Who do you live with in your foster home and who is your closest companion?<br/>I live with two humans, 4 canine brothers and two feline sisters. The humans and<br/>canines are my favorite – but mainly because they play with me. I don’t think the<br/>cats like me…<br/><br/>Where do you hang out when you are home alone?<br/>When the humans aren’t home all of us dogs have our own kennels we go into. I<br/>go right in to get my treat but then I realize they’re leaving so I cry for a little bit before I settle down for a nap.<br/><br/>Where do you sleep?<br/>I have my own kennel in the human’s bedroom. I don’t like being alone but I<br/>settle down quickly and sleep really well through the night. I don’t even mess in my kennel!<br/><br/>What do you love about your foster family?<br/>I have so many friends: human and dog! I get out for walks and outside time in a<br/>fenced yard. And there are soo many toys to play with!<br/><br/>What was life like before you were rescued by Even Chance and brought into the welcoming arms of your foster parents?<br/>A nice lady bought me and had me for 4 days, before her landlord realized I was<br/>living with her. My first mom didn’t know what to do and posted me on Facebook<br/>Marketplace. The potential for me to end up in a really bad situation made my new foster mom act fast and purchase me. And now I live with two awesome humans, 4 dog brothers, and 2 cat roommates.<br/><br/>Even Chance does not operate on a first come, first serve basis. In most cases we<br/>have already decided the type of home and owner we want for our dogs. These<br/>opinions are based on the temperament tests we perform prior to accepting the dog into our program and the behaviors the dogs display as they spend time in our homes. Our agency reserves the right to deny acceptance of any dog to an owner who we feel the lifestyle does not match that of the dog. We are in no way judging you or your lifestyle; we simply want to put our dogs in the best living situation possible.
