Buster Mixed Breed Brunswick, ME

Buster is a mixed-breed pup with a heart of gold and a love for life. He adores other dogs and is learning to live with and communicate boundaries with two older dogs in his foster home. He is cool with cats, though slow introductions are always best. While energetic and loves to play, Buster also has hip dysplasia. Don't worry, though! His pain is managed with supplements and occasional meds, so he can still enjoy walks, cuddles, and even a good romp in the yard. Buster's ideal home would be with adults or older kids(12+) who understand that he might react if his hips get bumped. Buster has some resource guarding issues which his adopter needs to commit to working on - pick up anything that you don't want him to have for starters! As an adolescent dog, he's also working on his manners (sometimes he jumps up to say hi and has a bit of a poop-eating habit – hey, nobody's perfect!), but he's a quick learner and eager to please. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who's always up for an adventure, look no further! He does need a dog that will not be intimidated by him trying to be the boss.
