Buster

Buster is a handsome husky who came to us after his owner was no longer able to care for him. He previously lived with multiple husky siblings and would do best with another canine companion in the home! Buster is a playgroup rockstar at the shelter but is still gaining confidence with new people. He wasn’t well-socialized before coming to us, but he has already shown wonderful progress! Once he feels safe, Buster will approach for pets and attention, and those little moments of trust are incredibly rewarding. Like most huskies, Buster can be an escape artist and will need proper supervision, a secure yard, and plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep him happy. Meeting new people is still challenging for him, but with time, consistency, and gentle encouragement, he truly has the potential to thrive. If you’re searching for a special dog to nurture and help grow, Buster is ready for the right family to show him what love and security feel like.

Please copy and paste the link below to fill out our Matchmaker Adoption Application so we may arrange a meet and greet for you!

https://www.brookhavenny.gov/152/Animal-Shelter
