He’s people- and dog-friendly, loves to play, and has all the makings of a loyal, happy companion.<br/><br/>This handsome guy has had a tough journey. After being adopted twice from the shelter and returned for being “too puppy-ish,” Buster ended up on the urgent list through no fault of his own. Recently, he was found as a stray after living with a foster who ghosted us, and we suspect he was dumped. Despite it all, Buster’s spirit is unshaken — he’s still sweet, fun-loving, and ready to give his whole heart to the right person.<br/><br/>At his core, Buster is a goofy, affectionate pup who loves to romp, chase, and soak up attention. He would absolutely excel in a training program — not because he’s a handful, but because he’s eager to learn, thrives with structure, and loves to please. With a committed adopter or foster, he’ll blossom into the incredible companion we know he can be.<br/><br/>Buster doesn’t need pity — he needs a chance. He’s the kind of dog who will make you laugh with his silly antics, keep you active with his love of play, and then curl up beside you, content just to be yours.
