Why Choose Me?<br/><br/>Update 1/13/26: <br/><br/>Bus is back at the shelter. When I passed his gate, he looked familiar, and he kept watching me and smiling like he knew me. I was sad to learn it was Bus, but he was thrilled to join me in an interaction pen. He's a happy dog who followed me around and likes to please. He'd sit for treats and hop on the table and enjoy pets. When I sat on the bench, he leaned against me enjoying more pets and scratches. He'd smile when I praised him for being a good boy, and he is a good boy. I don't know why he's back, but I hope he finds a new forever home.<br/><br/>* * *<br/>I joined Bus in an interaction pen this morning as his kennel was being cleaned, and we had fun playing with toys. Bus is a great dog who likes playing fetch and sitting for treats. He's a people pleaser, and after playtime, enjoys relaxing with his human soaking up love. He greeted me with a smile this morning and kept that smile throughout our time together. He made me smile, too!<br/><br/>Bus is a happy, friendly boy. He did some exploring and then joined me in the shade where I learned he's partial to butt scratches. Whenever I'd stop, he'd rub against me wanting more.
