Bunny's Story

Bunny — Your Next Happy Shadow & Adventure Buddy

If you’ve been dreaming of a loyal, joyful companion, meet Bunny—a 1-year-old bundle of sunshine whose whole body wiggles with excitement the moment she sees you. She’s the perfect blend of playful energy and soft, snuggly sweetness, always ready to brighten your day.

Bunny lives for morning kisses, yard zoomies, and any excuse to spend time with her humans. Whether you love hiking, exploring, or simply lounging with a furry friend by your side, Bunny is always up for the adventure.

But her journey hasn’t been easy. Bunny arrived as a stray severely underweight at just 16 lbs, battling parasites and uncertainty. With proper vet care and a whole lot of love, she has made an incredible transformation—and now she’s thriving.

She’s now fully vetted, spayed, healthy, and ready for the next chapter of her life. In her Dekalb County, GA foster home, she’s doing wonderfully with other dogs. She is good with kids 15+ due to her extra exhuberance, and hasn’t been cat-tested yet, but her gentle, friendly nature suggests she’d likely do well with feline friends too.

And with the holidays approaching…
? Bunny’s biggest wish is a home to call her very own.
A family who will continue her journey with love, patience, and joyful new beginnings.

All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary.

Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England.

Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.

Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.
