Bunny's Story

Hey there, I’m Bunny and I was born approximately in January of 2026! I’m a bundle of affection, playfulness, and I’m best buddies with other dogs. Potty training? Doing great, if I do say so myself! I snooze like a champ in my crate at night. I’m still mastering the art of "sit" and "stay" (patience is a virtue, right? ). I think respectful kiddos and I would get along just fine!

If you would like to meet Bunny and have already been approved to adopt or have already submitted an application, please private message our page or send an email to 7heartsrescue@gmail.com, or if you haven't applied yet, you can by using this link: https://www.7hearts.org/adopt-a-dog

Adoption fee includes: Spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, treated for worm, fleas and ticks, and micro-chipped (we register the micro-chip in your name for you).

Because our application approval process requires a physical home visit, our adoption radius is limited to within a 45 minute drive of Buffalo, NY.

Potential adopters submit an application via our website. Once submitted, we call vet reference and 2 personal references and perform a physical home visit of the potential adopter's home. If all of the above is satisfactory, we send them an email verifying they are approved and give them an Approval Card. If they have resident pets, we will bring the dog or pup that they are interested in to their home for a meet and greet with resident pets and family members to make sure it is a good fit. If all goes well, an adoption contract is signed and we provide the adopter with a folder that provides info on all medical care, other helpful information about caring for their new pet. The contract states that if they decide not to keep the dog or pup, they are required to return the pet to our rescue.
