Bunco's Story
FAST FACTS:
* Dog Friendly With All Sizes
* Kid Friendly
* Crate Trained
* Almost Potty Trained

Meet Bunco-Bunco is a happy, social boy who loves being around his people and dog friends. He is dog friendly and has lived with six dogs of all sizes, though because of his own size he may be best matched with medium to large dogs. He enjoys playful interactions and would love a canine playmate, but he could also thrive as a solo dog if his family keeps him busy with activities, toys, and engagement.

Bunco is very close to being fully potty trained and is doing great with routine and consistency. At night, he sleeps comfortably in a pen with a crate inside, showing that he’s already familiar with and comfortable around crate training.

He is wonderful with kids and has done great meeting children at events as well as spending time with neighbors’ kids ages 9 and 11. His energy level is medium—he enjoys playtime and yard fun, but he’s also a big fan of snuggling and relaxing with his people.

Bunco’s favorite things include playing with other dogs, toys and balls, running around the yard, cuddling up close, and of course… eating (he won’t deny it 😄). He’s a well-rounded, loving pup who would make a fantastic addition to a family ready to give him the love and structure he deserves.

His Background-Six puppies were abandoned with their mom in Mississippi, and now every one of these sweet siblings is ready for adoption. Mom was a 45-pound retriever mix, and dad is unknown.

These puppies are cute, cuddly, and eager to find a family to call their own. They need an adopter who is home often and ready to put in the work on training, socializing, and housebreaking. Young puppies require frequent potty breaks to learn good habits. Training is required, and we will need proof that adopters have registered for a puppy class.

They deserve someone who will commit to them for life. In return, they will give you endless cuddles, kisses, and unconditional love. If you’re ready for that commitment, please fill out an adoption application and Fetching Tails Foundation will be in touch soon

Please note that we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care and our bios are our current observations; we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history and as such breed and age estimates are an educated guess.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS:

*ADOPTION FEE: $450

*Be at least 21 years of age

*Live in a 50-mile radius of Itasca, within the Illinois border

*Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household

*Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)

*Have a valid ID with current address (please provide proof of address if ID address is not up-to-date)

*Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation

*Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment

*QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR POLICIES?
