Additionally, he has tested negative for both heartworm and Lyme disease, indicating he is in good health. <br/>Currently, Bullet is participating in an 8-week basic obedience training program designed to enhance his behavior and strengthen the bond between him and his future family. Throughout this course, he will master essential commands such as “sit,” “stay,” and “come.” The training also includes effective crate training to help him feel safe and secure in his living space, as well as leash training to ensure enjoyable and manageable walks. Furthermore, Bullet will engage in socialization exercises that will help him interact confidently and positively with other dogs and people. Please note that we are not a no-kill shelter, and we must make tough decisions regarding animals who are ill or aggressive. **Adoption Fees: ** - $165 for dogs under 5 years old - $100 for dogs over 5 years old - $200 for cell dogs. Your adoption fee covers vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella), microchipping, heartworm and Lyme testing, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter, and a dog license. All dogs must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter; if this hasn't been done, we'll schedule an appointment for you. **Payment: ** We accept cash only-no checks, debit, or credit cards, please. For more information, feel free to reach out to us during office hours, Tuesday to Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Our public visitation hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 11 AM to 4 PM. If you're coming from out of town, give us a call at 740-432-2219 to make sure the dog is still here.
