This handsome little fella is BUGSY, a 7-8 pound, 2-3 year old Chihuahua mix. He is one of the sweetest little guys and absolutely loves most people. Bugsy enjoys being held and very much wants to be with people so he’d do best in a home where people are home more. This sweet boy loves to sleep next to his foster mom at night too. <br/> <br/> Bugsy does very well with other dogs but he’s more into people so he’s OK to be the only dog in the home where people are home during the day. He doesn’t play much with toys and is not a big barker - generally has only barks at critters while outside. Bugsy loves to run around the fenced in yard; he walks on a leash but can be a bit skittish. Bugsy has lived with cats and doesn't bother with them. He is approved for households with children 8 and above.<br/> <br/> This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, provided inoculations, been tested for diseases, dewormed, spayed, and microchipped; he is housebroken and crate trained. This rescue adopts to applicants living throughout the greater Chicagoland and Rockford area. We do not adopt out of state with the exception of applicants on the border of Wisconsin and Indiana near the Chicago area. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and employed.
