Bugsy's Story

JUST ANOTHER DOG
The only family Bugsy ever knew dumped him at the shelter because he was doing what unneutered males do with unspayed females. Just Another Dog Another dog barely distinguishable from the ones in the kennels around him. He doesn't wear a tutu or dance or talk or sing. He isn't a puppy and he isn't an aged senior; he isn't a small dog and he isn't a large dog; rather, he's stuck in the middle Just Another Dog

Bugsy came into rescue knowing almost nothing about being a family member and inside living shy and withdrawn. Time and a loving and stable environment have brought out a sweet and occasionally personality.
A curious, but quiet little guy with handsome markings and the coloration of a shepherd, he can take a minute or two to warm upl but once comfortable, he is a loving and gentle fella who is most content when he is with his person. Not a barker, no aggression or resource guarding, not destructive. Gets along with other dogs (but no cats please), walks well on a leash and good in a crate.

Bugsy deserves to be more than Just.Another.Dog.

Available thru Dirt Road Doggies Rescue. Young senior (8), 30 lbs. Healthy, UTD all core vacs, heartworm negative, parasite free, neutered, microchipped.

Dirt Road Doggies Rescue, INC's Adoption Policy
All of our dogs are fully vetted (vaccines), parasite free, and altered (spay/neuter) prior to adoption, no exceptions. Most dogs are microchipped. Puppies must wait until 16 weeks of age to be adopted as this rule applies to them as well. Completed vetting paperwork is presented at the time of adoption. Dirt Road Doggies are fostered by compassionate families. With intricate knowledge of our dogs personalities, we work very hard to make each adoption a forever family by matching the adoptive families needs with the dogs. We want each adoption to be successful. Each adoption contribution is $250 per dog. We do not adjust this rate based on the "popularity" of a dog. We believe every dog is worthy of an owner that sees the value in them. Each adoption contribution is used to cover the expenses incurred for that dog and other dogs in our program.
