He's good with respectful, older (10+ y/o) kids and knows basic commands. Bugsy does have minor separation anxiety and escaping behaviors and the shelter has a trainer that is working with Bugsy on these minor issues.

Notes from the shelter:
Bugsy and his siblings were a little shy at first but over time has turned into a great young pup with a slightly rebellious spirit that includes an eagerness for exploration and endless adventures. While in foster care, Bugsy has done great with the resident family's two larger dogs and even their older children. Bugsy is still a little slow-to-warm-up kind of dog but once he warms up and gets comfortable, he is nothing but an affectionate cuddle bug who doesn't mind playing with his friends. Bugsy is a star athlete and his long legs will take him anywhere you are looking to travel next. He would be great for any adventures outdoors and absolutely loves the beach. Bugsy also loves to show off his quick wit and intelligence and is currently working on improving his forever dog skills and commands in his foster. He can't wait to show off his new skills along with his adventurous spirit to his forever family.

Please contact the Galveston Island Humane Society and ask them about Bugsy and how to make him a part of your family today!

BREED: Bully breed blend

AGE: 1 year

HEALTH: All rescue dogs are vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped.

GOOD WITH: Other dogs; respectful older (10+) children;cats and other small animals unknown
