Bug's Story

Courtesy post for Bug:

"

Meet Bug – The Adventure-Loving Snuggle Pro

Age: 9 1⁄2 (almost 10!)

Good with: Adults, dogs, cats

Needs: Kid-free home

Hi there, I’m Bug! I may be a senior pup, but don’t let that fool you—I still have plenty of pep, silliness, and zest for life. I’m the perfect mix of goofy adventurer and devoted couch snuggler. Whether we’re going on hikes, taking long walks, cruising in the car, or curling up to watch TV together for hours, I’m happiest being right by your side.

I’ve lived happily with other dogs—big and small—and with proper introductions, I get along just fine. I’ve mostly lived with female dogs but could do well with a boy too. And cats? I LOVE cats... even when they aren’t quite as thrilled about my enthusiasm!

I’ve been in my current home for nearly 6 years, and my family absolutely adores me. The decision to rehome me has come with a very heavy heart and lots of tears, but everyone wants what’s best for my well-being. I love being the center of attention, and while my family’s new human kids are wonderful, the unpredictability of little ones makes me anxious and sometimes reactive. It’s no one’s fault—I just need a calm home where I can relax and feel safe.

I’m housetrained, crate trained, well-mannered, and truly the best buddy for all your adventures. I still get the zoomies, love my toys, soak up sunshine in the yard, and never turn down cuddle time. I can be a little anxious at the vet and need a muzzle and some pre-appointment calming meds, but once I’m home, I’m all love and snuggles again.

I’m looking for someone who wants a loyal, devoted best friend to spend my golden years with. A home with no children and a quiet environment is exactly what I need to feel safe, loved, and like the center of someone’s world again.

If you’re searching for a cuddly, quirky, sweet old soul with plenty of love left to give... Bug just might be your guy."

To help contact Chelsea at chelseamalstrom@icloud.com

Or 443-845-8773
