Bug's Story

Bug is a 1-year-6-month-old female Shih Tzu mix who weighs 9.3 pounds. She is loving, well-behaved, displays very good manners, and loves to be cuddled. Bug relates well with other dogs and enjoys the company of humans. She would perform at her best in a calm environment. She is fully vetted (vaccinations are current) and will be spayed the first week of December. We travel up to 1 hour from our location to complete home visits; otherwise, please submit a short video of your fenced-in yard.

YouCanMakeADifference, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

We ask our potential adopters to complete a Pre-adoption questionnaire located at www.adoptapet.com/youcanmakeadifferenceinc/adoption-application. Once we receive the completed application we proceed to call the potential adopter to answer any question they may have as well as to schedule a "meet and greet" in their household. On the day of the meeting, we bring the selected pet to the household. During the visit, we observe the yard as well as we observe the interaction between the pet and the potential adopter. If both the potential adopter and the animal are deemed to be a match we proceed to complete the adoption process. The adoption contract is discussed and signed and payment for adoption is collected. Adopter receives a copy of the adoption contract as well as veterinary record, Rabies and Microchip tags.
