Buford & Smokey

UPDATED 4/17/2026 Hi! We're Buford & Smokey! We're 12-13 year old beagle mix brothers. We're very bonded & we need a new home together because our person became ill & was no longer able to care for us. We're gentle & affectionate boys! We love to cuddle & be touched! We're so loving, & we're wonderful companions to each other & our person! We're happy boys & quite sociable & friendly! We like to play tug-of-war, & we really enjoy being outside during the day, playing & hanging out in a fenced in back yard. We're also easygoing. We're used to hanging out on the couch with our person & sleeping in bed with them at night. We've been around teenagers & do fine with them. We're used to going outside 5 times a day. We'll let you know we need to go outside by making small barks and/or excitement around the door. We're afraid of lightning & thunderstorms. We've lost a lot of weight since coming into NBR! Buford weighs about 50 lbs & Smokey weighs about 65 lbs. We're not overweight, though! We're just bigger boned! :) We eat turkey & venison (beef & chicken dog food don't really agree with us). We both take apoquel for allergies. A home without other dogs would be best since Buford can be a little bossy with other dogs. Please think about making us part of your family!
