Meet Buford! He's a large young adult mix, about 2 years old and 75 lbs. He enjoys a nice game of fetch, but the drool is real! He would do best in a home with no children or cats. Anyone looking for a Scooby-Doo? Buford is looking for an adventure buddy! He got a field trip out of the Pound and this is what his handler had to say. “Buford easily loads into the bed of a truck and rides nice and quiet. Buford will sit on a verbal command with a hand signal. When at the park, Buford really likes to follow his nose while exploring and will chase birds if they are close enough. He started to learn a recall and appreciates praise with affection for reward. Buford has no formal leash training and is puppy minded in a big boy body, so quite a bit of redirection with slight corrections was needed to get him to walk next to his handler's side which he started to do nicely on a loose lead while walking through town. He did well when we started jogging, enjoying the pace. Buford shows willingness to learn and seemed happy and interested in meeting new people.
