At around 2 years old, Buddy is the ultimate lap dog—affectionate, gentle, and always ready for snuggles. Buddy’s story is one of true resilience.<br/><br/>He’s heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, neutered, and both crate and house trained. His easygoing nature and sweet demeanor make him a wonderful fit for many types of households. While Buddy can be a bit cautious around large, high-energy dogs, he does well with other calm pets and adjusts quickly to new surroundings.<br/><br/>Buddy absolutely loves carrying his stuffed toys around, soaking up attention, and being as close to his humans as possible. Approved applicants will have the opportunity to speak directly with Buddy's foster family to learn more about their personality, routine, and needs.<br/><br/>You will get to meet Buddy over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! We facilitate adoptions across the U.S. with USDA-certified transport teams to safely bring our animals to their new homes, with drop-off locations in CO, VA, NY, MA, WA, IL, AZ, OR, and MI.<br/><br/>We're proud to have helped animals find loving homes, with adopters consistently sharing how meaningful the experience has been. When you adopt through Saving Pups of Texas, you save more than one life: the one you bring home, and the space it opens up to save another.<br/><br/>Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save.
