Buddy (Postal)'s Story

Who doesn't need an adorable Beagle in their life???? Postal is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 25 pounds.

He is high energy and loves to play with people, but really loves to play with other dogs. His favorite games are chase, keep away and tug-of-war (we are trying to make fetch happen).

He loves to snuggle. He's not quite a Velcro dog, but he does have separation/isolation anxiety. The anxiety is lessened by the presence of another dog.

Buddy is, relatively, well behaved on walks, though he still pulls. He knows sit, is learning like down and often pretends she doesn't know come. He hasn't had any recent accidents in the house but he is let out in to the yard frequently, throughout the day. He understands going into his crate. He does not enjoy spending time in it and starts to panic if he's locked in for more than 20 minutes.

Buddy's ideal home would be a big family (preferably with kids and someone home all day), at least one other dog, and a big, fenced yard.

Buddy comes with his large crate, leash, several harnesses, plenty of dog food and treats as well as his toys, bowls and bed.
Please fill out an application from our website if you would like to adopt Buddy
