Buddy Love (GA)

Mama Klump: "When the good Lord made you, he made you beautiful inside and out."<br/>~ The Nutty Professor<br/><br/>Our 2 year old Buddy Love was dropped off in poor condition in a rural area. A good Samaritan befriended him and took him to Animal Control where Rescue was contacted. Buddy understandably had little trust in humans upon arrival at his foster home in northwest Georgia and is still understandably slow at warming up to new situations. He is now healthy at 55 lbs with a beautiful, shiny coat and perfect eyeliner. He has learned how to be a very good house dog; Buddy is reliably housetrained and nondestructive and is allowed full roam of the house at night and when his people are away. He prefers to sleep on a chair in the living room or a dog bed. He gets along famously with the other hounds in his foster home, whether male or female, young or old. Buddy seems to enjoy having a canine alpha male or female in his life. He still acts like a little puppy in front of them and they give him a nice boost of confidence. Cats are an unknown but could be tested. Buddy can run like the wind with his long legs and thoroughly enjoys a good romp in the fenced yard with the other dogs. It seems he feels keeping the squirrels out of the yard is his personal task in life. He is good in the car and on lead and would not be well-suited to a noisy urban lifestyle. He is beautiful inside and out!
