He’s adjusted beautifully in foster care and has proven himself to be an excellent little companion.<br/><br/>Buddy loves his walks and enjoys affection when he decides it’s time—he’s an independent guy who also appreciates calm, gentle interaction. Most of the day, he’s an easy, quiet presence who values his personal space and prefers a peaceful home.<br/><br/>He’s slowly getting comfortable sleeping in the bed with his foster, and while he’s still a bit unsure around men and larger dogs, he’s great with small dogs and would likely blossom with a friendly canine buddy.<br/><br/>A fenced yard, a buddy, and a work from home mom would be perfect for him as he continues to build confidence and explore the world at his own pace.<br/><br/>Buddy is truly a gem—smart, sensitive, and so deserving of someone who understands a dog with a gentle soul.<br/><br/>Adoption $500<br/><br/>All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Applicants are subject to a home visit, and veterinary references will be checked. Please include a vet reference (including phone number) when applying online.<br/><br/>Our application process:<br/>FIRST, an application must be approved for adoption from our rescue.<br/>SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc.<br/>If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again.
