Buddy's Story

Buddy's soulful eyes tell a story and as each day passes, his quiet bravery grows a little more. At just 2-1/2 years old, he is learning the world isn't as scary as it once was. Buddy is waiting for a home that will help him continue his journey of trust and to accept patience, compassion and a life filled with love.

Buddy needs to meet new people at his own pace. He will do best in a calm, predictable home that understands progress comes in moments, not miles. Given gentle guidance and positive reinforcement when things feel uncertain, you will see his confidence blossom. Buddy's trust is something special and earning it truly feels like a gift. Once he feels safe, you will see him soften and relax, letting his curious, affectionate and quietly playful personality shine.

If you find joy in supporting a dog discover the world can be a kind, safe place, Buddy will reward you with a deep bond, gentle love, and the pride of watching him become who he's meant to be.

Children in the home should be ages (14+) who will understand and respect his boundaries.
