Meet Buddy Elf! Buddy is about 2 years old. Buddy seems to likenothrt dogs, we are unsure about cats. Buddy would do well with older children, but no small children as he is big and rambunctious! Buddy needs a home preferably with another dog and a fence to keep him from wandering. An experienced home with training experience would be ideal!<br/>WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT BUDDY WILL BE STARTING A TEAINING CLASS WITH ROSIE DANE DOG TRAINING WITH OUR EXPERIENCED TRAINERS!<br/>If you are wanting to adopt Buddy we will help you transition his training to you!<br/><br/>If you would like to make Buddy a part of your family, fill.out an application at www.barktownrescue.org<br/><br/>BUDDY ELF'S ADOPTION FEE IS $170The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess.<br/><br/>Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in. Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!
