He may need a couple of weeks to warm up to new people, but once you've earned his trust... congratulations! You've officially got yourself a best friend for life.<br/><br/>This handsome guy is happiest when he's near his people. He'll happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company because, at the end of the day, Buddy really only wants two things: to love and be loved. <br/><br/>And Buddy isn't just a people dog - he's a social butterfly! He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, has done amazing with his foster's own dog, is respectful of the resident cat, and absolutely loves making new friends at the dog park.<br/><br/>His favorite things include:<br/> Face kisses<br/> Neck hugs<br/> Hanging out with his people<br/> Being your four-legged shadow<br/><br/>One thing he is not a fan of? Being picked up. That's a hard pass from Buddy, thank you very much!<br/><br/>Buddy does have some arthritis and pain in his back legs, but daily supplements and medication have made a huge difference. He's still happy, playful, and ready to enjoy life - he just appreciates a little extra TLC along the way.<br/><br/>And we should probably mention the elephant... or should we say the furball in the room? Buddy sheds enough fur to knit another dog!
