Buddy's Story

Oh, Buddy.
Buddy is something special.

Two year old Buddy was adopted from ACS San Antonio several months ago. He was then found living on the streets of San Antonio, emaciated with a severely injured leg and bite marks covering his body.

Why would anyone adopt this sweet boy only to mistreat and neglect him so badly?

Home Run Hounds Animal Rescue pulled Buddy from the shelter and his leg is better although one toe had to be amputated. But, he's doing perfectly fine with one less toe. He has gained weight and his bite wounds have healed. But, his heart needs some healing.

Buddy is good with DOGS! We are unsure about cats as he hasn't been around them. We do not know about kids either as he hasn't been with them since we have had him. He's vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

He is still in Texas but he needs to leave there and start a new life. Texas is flooded with dogs and the chances of adoption are very low. He can be easily transported out of state to a foster or adopter.

Please email homerunhoundsanimalrescue@gmail.com
