He was turned into a NC shelter with the owners saying he had started nibbling at their feet, and they didn't want their grandchildren to get hurt. He lived with them for two months after they had gotten him from someone else.

This sweet boy comes from an unknown, unstable past. He needs an adult home with older teen children. Absolutely no toys, no young children or small grandkids due to past bite issues which his foster rescue mom will discuss if you are approved to adopt him. He has been in 4 different homes before rescue.

He came here with bilateral cherry eyes; all needed vet care has been done. A repair for his cherry eyes was done with a good recovery. He came to us very sad and dirty. After being groomed he came back withdrawn from too much noise and too many dogs. Best to have a patient groomer with few distractions. He needs to learn to trust you for an adoption to go well. He didn't know kindness, love, attention or how to handle noises until we worked with him. He can be in a home with one other Cocker Spaniel who is easy going and would love a pal. He will thrive in a home with stability, kindness and love. Someone who will work with him and not give up on him. His issues are doable and will be discussed if approved to meet him. Fenced yard a must. He is a good boy.

Adoption Fee is $500.
