Buddy Boy is a very sweet 7 year old lab/shepherd mix. This big lovable boy weighs 75 pounds. Buddy Boy is a quiet, happy man. He is slow and easygoing, but has some get-up-and-go too! He loves other dogs and his hoomans! Buddy Boy is easy to love and easy to spoil. Like many rescue dogs, he guards his food, and just needs to be fed separately from other dogs. He has lived with other dogs for many years and done well in all other regards. Buddy Boy is the dog you can have in your home & never hear a peep from him, as long as he gets plenty of belly rubs & treats. He simply wants to have his very own furever family to love & a big cushy place to nap. Buddy Boy has been waiting for a home for sooo long. Sometimes the really good ones simply get overlooked. He even made an appearance on the local news recently hoping someone would see him and love him! <br/><br/>He is house & crate trained. He is very compliant and gets into his crate when directed. Buddy Boy's adoption fee is $200. He is up-to-date with his vaccines, neutered, Heartworm Negative & microchipped. <br/><br/>IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED for Buddy Boy's new furever family we require the following:<br/><br/>*Buddy Boy's family needs to be fairly physically active. He loves chilling & relaxing, but needs exercise. He enjoys outside & needs to get regular exercise. He does fine alone during the day, but needs a vigorous walk or playtime everyday. <br/>*Buddy Boy requires a fully fenced yard or enclosed area to keep him safe. <br/>*Experienced pet home with verifiable vet references/history preferred, but we realize that everyone has to start somewhere, so all applications will be considered.<br/>*Verifiable good veterinary history INCLUDING regular vaccination/visits and Good Heartworm Prevention history is a MUST!<br/>*Adopter must be able to have time to spend with the pup and be able to provide the pup a safe environment to live.<br/>*ALL our dogs are expected to be primarily INSIDE dogs. They MUST sleep inside the home. We truly understand that some folks have working dogs (i.e. farmers, ranchers, etc); however, the majority of our dogs have had a rough life prior to coming to us & we want to make sure that they are showered with LUV & maybe even a bit spoiled for the rest of their lives. <br/><br/>Other facts are also considered, including whether children or other pets are a good fit with the dog. <br/><br/>Must Luv Dogs reserves the right to deny any applications that we don't think are a good fit with the pup. Our first & foremost concern is the dog's best interest. It is our MISSION to place them in a home that is a great fit for their needs for a lifetime of luv & being part of a family.<br/><br/>*We will consider adoptions in any area; however, will do not ship or transport a puppy under the age of 12 mos. We will ONLY transport an adult dog on a transport approved by MLD, at adopter's expense.<br/><br/>Please note that all of our pets are in private foster homes. In order to reduce any stress or confusion for our pups, we require a completed, approved application BEFORE setting up a meeting for any of fur-babies. Alternatively, you are always welcome to come meet any of our pups at one of our regular Adoption Events.
