Buddy

Buddy’s Mom passed away suddenly, but no one knew it for several days. 😖He is 9 to 10 years old and had been moved around among several family members before coming to live with his mom. He is an 11 pound maltese with a huge personality. He gets along well with other dogs and loves people attention. He came to rescue with nothing, no toys, no bed, no food, and he hadn’t been to the vet or the groomer in several years. He enjoys being outside in nice weather and knows how to use a doggie door. He does seem to be house trained. He lived with 6 other dogs, most of them much larger than him, in a rural area.<br/><br/>His ideal home would probably be with a retired adult, or someone who works from home. Due to his small size, we would suggest no children under about 12 years old. He would probably enjoy a canine companion, and a fenced in backyard, but since he isn’t a barker, could probably do well in a ground floor apartment or condo.<br/><br/>Buddy is neutered, he is up to date on his vaccinations (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and microchipped.
