Buddy #98 is a handsome 2-year-old purebred Labrador Retriever with a beautiful light yellow coat and a lean 55-lb build. Although Buddy is an incredibly sweet, loving, and well-rounded dog. Buddy is both house-trained and crate-trained and does wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. He’s especially great with canine friends, taking a submissive, easygoing approach to play. Buddy enjoys playing with other dogs as long as playtime stays friendly and not too rough. This happy Lab loves an active lifestyle! Swimming is one of his favorite pastimes, and he also enjoys car rides, going for walks, and playing ball. He walks pretty well on a leash and already knows his basic commands including sit, down, wait, stay, and heel. When it’s time to relax, Buddy is more than happy to soak up affection—he absolutely loves petting, snuggling, and being close to his people. Buddy is an enthusiastic chewer and does best with appropriate chew toys like Nyla bones and antlers. He will thrive in an active family that can keep him mentally and physically engaged. A fenced yard and kids to help keep him busy would be ideal for this fun-loving boy. Please hurry as your new best friend is waiting for you!<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEES: $495 non-refundable adoption fee for all vet expenses (spay/neuter, shots, etc.) and transportation to ensure your lab gets to you in a safe, professional manner. All fees may be paid using PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Labs4rescue does not accept personal checks for adoption fees.
