He is looking for someone to help him along a bit of a weight loss journey. He has been on a diet while here at the shelter and is on his way to getting buff for the summer. Buddy is very sweet and has done well with meeting new dogs while here at the shelter. He also loves splashing around in the baby pool and went for a fun day at the Animal Den and enjoyed the pool there as well! If you are looking for a fun-loving family dog, Buddy is the right fit for you.<br/><br/>Buddy recently went on a FURlough Field Trip and got rave reviews! His FURlough Friend says: "We started off by going to Coffee Republic in Folsom. As I studied and sipped coffee, Buddy remained so calm. Everyone that walked by fell in love with him! (Not exaggerating). We took a stroll around Folsom and went to the park. We went back home to go Home Depot and Buddy quickly fell asleep in the car and started snoring. Then I took him to my house where he played in the backyard for a bit, and then went inside and took a long nap on the couch. We had lunch at Jacks Urban eats, and buddy was so well behaved. Great at napping lol! He seems to be potty trained & house broken. We were in our kitchen for a bit while I cooked and he didn't counter surf or bark for any food. He did so good in public spaces, greeted everyone with a helicopter tail and a happy demeanor! He enjoyed receiving attention from everyone. Not only is he cute, he also has this charm to him that made everyone want to pet him and hug him! (I think the cute floppy ears were it) He didn't bark or growl at anyone or any dog that walked by. He has the best sit of any dog I've seen!"<br/>My adoption fee has been sponsored by the Grey Muzzle Organization!<br/><br/>I have done well with other dogs at the shelter.
