When his foster opened her car door, he climbed right in without hesitation. His previous owner, who was facing terminal illness, made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him so he could get the care and stability he deserved.<br/><br/>When he first arrived, Buddy was timid and kept his distance. Over time, he's blossomed into an affectionate, joyful companion who greets his foster with full-body excitement.<br/><br/>Personality & Energy Level<br/>Buddy is a medium-energy dog who enjoys a balance of activity and relaxation. He's playful, affectionate, and incredibly people-oriented. He loves to be close to his person—especially at bedtime, where he happily snuggles in and settles down.<br/><br/>He's gentle at heart, but he doesn't always realize how big and goofy he is, which adds to his charm.<br/><br/>Dog Friendships<br/>Buddy gets along well with female dogs of all ages. His foster sisters adore him, and he loves cuddling and playing with them.
