Buddy's Story

My name is Buddy! I am a 4 year old, Male, Mystery mix. I weigh around 80 pounds but the people here say I need to go on a "weight loss journey". I'm not sure what that means, but I'm hoping it means snacks! What can I say, I am a very food motivated guy! I was adopted for a while but I need a home experienced with big dogs & ready to take on training classes. I need daily exercise & also daily mental activity! No cats for me please! Because I am so big and boisterous, I will do my best in a home with no kids. I don't know how big I am but I do know how to love big! The staff at ODR say I am a good boy and they are hoping that the perfect "big dog" home comes along so that I can finally find my forever home.

**PLEASE DO NOT SEND AN INQUIRY THROUGH PETFINDER! WE MAY NOT SEE THEM!** Adoption appointments for Oregon Dog Rescue are now booked online through our website! We offer 1 hour appointments to view up to 2 of our available dogs. If you find the one that's the perfect match you will fill out our adoption contract and take the dog home with you that day! Read through our adoption policies and request an appointment today at www.oregondogrescue.org/request-appointment All members of the family need to be present to adopt-including other dogs. No outdoor dogs. No third party adoptions. Landlord approval necessary. One dog per family. No intact dogs in the home. We do not do any holds for any reason.
