Buddy's Story
Why Choose Me?
Update: It's Super Buddy! He may be eight years old, but he's still got lots of spring in his step, enjoys going for walks, and loves playing a few rounds of fetch! Afterwards, Buddy likes to show how well he can sit for treats. I suspect he's already house trained because he takes care of his business soon after we reach the interaction pen. I also think he's used to being indoors because after his rounds of fetch and time practicing skills, he's ready to head back inside. He's a sweet, fun boy and great companion. He also looks so cute and proud in his "Super Buddy" t-shirt.

Buddy is a fun little guy! He was thrilled to leave his kennel and walked like a pro to the interaction pen. He'd sit or hop on his hind legs for treats, and then I discovered how much he loves playing fetch. He was so cute racing for the ball AND bringing it back! We had a great time. He's such a sweet, friendly fellow who's always happy and smiling. I couldn't help but think he really is a true Buddy.

You can read more about this dog and check out additional photos here: https://www.accgov.com/9482/Dogs

The adoption fees, shelter schedule, a description of the rescue and adoption process, and a list of included vetting can be found at https://athenspets.net/adoption-rescue-process.

This dog is available for adoption through Athens-Clarke County Animal Services, located at 125 Buddy Christian Way, Athens, GA.
