Buddy's Story

Buddy is a 1 year old Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix. He is about 40 pounds. This cute youngster is well socialized with other dogs, thinks it's fun to chase cats but doesn't hurt them, crate trained and doing well with house breaking. He and Marcy are siblings. They weren't well socialized as young pups so they are shy with new people. Once they're comfortable, they are sweet, affectionate, lively and great companions. Almost Home Herding Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

When available for adoption, our adult dogs have been spayed or neutered, tested for heart worm and tick diseases, received a health check and vaccinations and are on heart worm and flea and tick preventative. If a puppy is available that is too young to be spayed or neutered, the adopter will be required to complete a spay or neuter agreement. If you are seriously interested in one of our dogs, please complete the online adoption application. We will be in touch to schedule your home evaluation once we have contacted your vet's office to verify the information provided. Please remember that this is a volunteer group and it may us take a few days to get in touch with you.
