Buddy 's Story
Name: Buddy Valentine
Sex: Male
Breed: Lhasa Apso
Age: 2 years old (as of April)
Color: Cream and Golden
Weight: 19.4 lbs
Neutered: January 8, 2026

Buddy Valentine is a wonderful foster pup who truly lives up to his name. He is incredibly affectionate and has warm kisses for everyone he meets. He gets along well with female dogs; however, his behavior toward male dogs can be a bit snarky. Behavior toward cats is unknown. According to his paperwork, he was raised with children. I would recommend he either be an only dog or have a female friend. Older children six and above ok. He seems to have a sensitive throat area as he does not tolerate a collar, so a harness is a must.

He is very playful and enjoys throwing his bones and soft toys around, though bully sticks are his favorite. Buddy loves running in the yard, but because he may be prone to running away if given the chance, a fully fenced yard is required. Currently, he sleeps in bed with me but is crated when I am away.

Adoption fee is required.

He is being fostered through Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue.
tinypawssmalldogrescue.org
Foster mom is Carol Degen in Mt. Pleasant
carol58degen@gmail.com

If interested please fill out application at tinypawssmalldogrescue.org to get the ball rolling.
