This 1-1.5-year-old sweetheart was found on the side of the road by one of our board members, and from that moment, his new life began.<br/><br/>With his soft eyes and St. Bernard-like face, you'd think he was a giant, but Buddy is actually a perfect medium size at about 55-60 pounds. He's a gentle, easygoing boy who loves nothing more than hanging out close to his people, soaking up the sunshine, and going for calm, relaxing walks.<br/><br/>Buddy is currently heartworm positive, but he's being carefully prepped for treatment and doing great. Once he's fully recovered, he'll be ready to step into the happy, healthy life he's always deserved.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a companion with an old soul, a big heart, and a peaceful presence, Buddy will be your perfect shadow.

Paws of the Pines Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our organization is foster based only therefore we do not have a facility for potential adopters to visit. Often times our social media will share who will be at our upcoming events. A pre-approved application must be on file before we schedule any private meet and greets. Our adoption fees are as follows: ANY small breed dog: $350 Pups under 2yrs: $300 Dogs over 2yrs: $200 Cats: $150

Paws of the Pines Rescue is a small, volunteer ran organization. Our animals come to us as strays, owner surrenders, or shelter pulls. We are ran solely off of donations and have rescued hundreds of animals since our operations began in September 2022.
