Buddy

Buddy is one of 4 dogs that were abandoned when their owner moved away & left them. Thankfully we were able to rescue them before they starved to death.<br/><br/>Buddy was the only male, and he would let the females run up & get the attention and eat the food. He would stand back and watch. We could tell that he wanted to come to us, but he was hesitant. We had to go to him and assure him that we were not going to hurt him.<br/><br/>He is very sweet and passive. He loves attention, but he is timid. We feel certain that he was mistreated. We take everything slowly with Buddy, but he is quickly coming out of his shell. At first he was afraid to walk on leash, but now he looks forward to his daily walks. He is even playing w/ toys. He also loves the company of other dogs. Buddy is about 5 1/2 years old.<br/><br/>Buddy will need a home that is calm & quiet w/ owners who will be patient & kind. We will do everything in our power to make sure Buddy gets the home he deserves.<br/><br/>One last thing - Buddy can climb a 4 foot chainlink fence. We will take that into consideration at time of adoption and are willing to do whatever is necessary to secure a fence so Buddy will be safe.
