Buddha's Story

Hi there! My name is Buddha, and I’m one half of the “Ying Yang” twin brothers—that’s what my foster family calls us! While my brother Rocky might be a little shy at first, I’m the more easygoing and confident half of the duo. I help show him the ropes and remind him that the world isn’t so scary!
I currently weigh around 13 pounds, and I’ll likely stay under 25 pounds when I’m fully grown.
I’m a happy, playful pup who loves spending time with my brother, my foster sisters, and even the resident cat. Whether we’re running around the yard, playing with toys, or just hanging out, I’m always up for some fun. A backyard would be a dream come true—I love to stretch my legs and then relax in the sunshine.
I’m also a big fan of people! I warm up quickly and enjoy attention, pets, and being part of whatever you’re doing. I’ve got a sweet, steady personality that makes me a wonderful companion.
Like my brother, I’m crate-trained and sleep well through the night, though I may occasionally need a potty break. I’m doing great with potty training and just need a consistent routine to keep learning and growing.
More than anything, I love being with my brother Rocky—we play together, learn together, and keep each other company. I would absolutely love for us to be adopted together, but I understand that might not always be possible.
If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and loyal companion (or maybe two!), I just might be your guy.
Could I be part of your forever family?

Habitat 4 Paws's Adoption Policy
Adopters must visit with a potential pet and adoption counselor. We prefer that all family members and pets are present during this process to ensure a good fit. If all goes well, adopters will complete an application. After application approval, a home visit will be scheduled. We do not hold pets nor do we adopt on a first come, first served basis. Our goal is to find the home that best fits that pet’s needs. Adoption fees are $225 for dogs, $275 for puppies under 1 year of age, $185 for cats and kittens. All pets will be spayed/neutered, receive age appropriate vaccinations and microchip, will be tested for common diseases, and kept current on heartworm and flea preventative. Habitat 4 Paws will host regular offsite adoptions, food drives, microchip clinics and fundraising events. Stay up to date through our website and Facebook page!
